So now that the game is out in english, who has picked it up and what are your impressions? I'm loving it, though I'm finding it a tad too easy; 8 Badges and i'm tanking through level 50s with a bunch of mid-40s. I really need to find someone to give me the key to unlock challenge mode. So anyway, my current team:
Bolt (Jolteon)* - Level 49
Luke (Lucario) - Level 48
Bertha (Ferrothorn) - Level 46
Pidgeot (Unfezant) - Level 34
Maxie (Samurott) - Level 47
Sol (Volcarona) - Level 54
*Special Defense IV of 31, was trying to evolve it to Umbreon, but by level 31 and the 6th gym, I needed something to power through Skyla, and it hadn't evolved. I guess there's always breeding as an option!

I'm trying to raise Sol to 60 so i can get Quiver Dance and Heat Wave so he can just plow through the E4. Bertha is my wall; She stops everything but fire, and knows Curse/Ingrain, so take that physical attacks. Unfezant is rather useless, i am tempted to try and grab an Ice type, but cannot decide.

I enjoy the game, and I think the fact that they included pokemon from other generations helped boost the gameplay, as I don't like G5 too much. Lucario is awesome, and I'm glad I got it before my first gym.
I only recently started, but here is my team after Cheren
DarkAura(Riolu)- Level 15
Oshkosh(Oshawott)- Level 17
Mary(Mareep)- Level 14
FLY SLAVE(Pidove)-Level 3
Any good team ideas?

Beat the Elite Four a few days ago (without having to recover any PP, which has never happened before). The team I ended up using was Genesect (level 75), Emboar (level 67; first time another one of my PokÃ©mon has out-leveled my starter), and 4 others at levels 40 and 45 in case I had to stall for time.

Imo, the game is too easy compared to the first b/w games, I also find it to be quite glitchy at times...
Btw, I caught every legendary in the game with a pokeball without cheats, without damaging the pokemon and without making them fall asleep, etc True story.

I also find the dialogue better, as the originals had directly translated stuff.

Glitchy? The game has been far from glitchy in my experience.
Also if you're going to lie like that make it more obvious that you're joking. The mechanics of the game would make it damn near impossible for that to happen for every legendary in the game.

Yeah, but it's not impossible. I think he's just trolling or something, though.

I've been in postgame for the past few days or so, actually I've done a whole lost. Fairly enjoyed the game, dunno what else to say but I guess I could put up some team stats. Also Victory Road annoyed me when I was going through it. But I wouldn't call that too bad.

I pretty much cleared out most of postgame so I'm just taking care of minor things. As for my current team?

Blade Jack (Samurott) - Level 84
Tess (Stoutland) - Level 83
Abel (Ampharos) - Level 83
Gatling (Cinccino) - Level 85
Yampi (Flygon) - Level 84
Shunpei (Mienshao) - Level 84

Everyone's been a valued member of the team, which is good.

So i just beat the Champion, i really need challenge mode because I was severly underleveled, and i still won :U

Tanking Bertha and Sol was all i needed to do for Iris. But that *SPOILER*Lapras out of fucking nowhere was a massive troll. Thank fuck that was easily dealt with. Right now, gonna be selling out to movies, then onto other quests!

You can't seriously make us believe that you got all of them with a 0.4% chance to even get one, do you? (correct me if I'm wrong on the percentage) I've only had something like that happen once in my entire time of ever playing Pokemon which was in Pokemon: Diamond which I caught Giratina with a pokeball at full health.

As for me, I've been extremely busy with someone but here is my current stats:

1. I once encountered a lvl 1 pokemon (can't remember the name :/)
2. Catching pokemon with only 1 shake of the ball instead of 3 (this actually happened with zekrom >_>)

1) The only pokemon that can be fought at Level 1 is Magikarp as it can be found at Lv1-100.

2) That was a Critical Capture. Not a bug.

Secondly, the whole problem is that although you can say something, there's actually no proof unless you like recorded the whole thing of turning on the game and going to catch it. I could easily hack the game and say "Look! I caught a [Pokemon] in one try using a Pokeball at fully health!"

It's not really that we're doubting you... it's more or less what you've described is very improbable.

Very Improbable is a huge understatement. 1.4% chance of doing such a thing, then spreading it for the 10+ legendaries you can catch in the game? what's 0.014^10? Almost 0. You'd have more chance winning jackpot off of 6 number Keno.

2. I know it's not ACTUALLY a glitch, but I still like to consider it as a glitch since it's pretty random.

What is with everyone and using Genesect. Shouldn't you guys be like, saving Genesect for those 'competitive' battles? I mean sure, in competitive it's most likely god-awful but still! YOU ONLY GET ONE! (unless you have like multiple copies or something)

I won't use it in competitive battles so I figured WHY NOT

Titting around in Driftveil now, squad has changed a little!

Caught a Zubat and he became my 6th. Swapped Koffing out for a certain thing from Driftveil Zorua.

All of my Pogeys are in the 26-28 range, and I'm exploring out to the West of Driftveil before I go kick Clay's ass.

Also this game is good.

Still working my way towards the Elite Four. Just reached Victory Road. I started using Lucario to power through most of the later areas, given my whole team's level started falling behind the curve due to my lack of grinding (have mainly fought just the trainers for the whole game, running away from wild encounters, with the exception of catching things). Seems like my team's level is starting to even out a bit, though, thanks to Experience Share.

I've also been playing on the 3DS, so I've been using the Dream Radar. Even if it's a little gimmicky, it's a pretty nice way to stock up on evolutionary stones and other rare/expensive items, as well as a good handful of legendaries and Pokemon with unique abilities.

Here's my current team:
Lucario Lvl 58
Flygon Lvl 51
Banette Lvl 51
Absol Lvl 50
Sawsbuck Lvl 50
Azumarill Lvl 53

Did I mention I got a level 100 party and completed the Unova Dex sans Meloetta? I guess not.

Not much else for me to do aside from dream world collecting though (And national dex, which I'm not doing yet), so yeah.

I've already completed the national dex and pretty much everything else there is to do in the game, all exept the pokestar studio things which I probably won't bother doing (call me a nerd/geek if you wish >_>). Have fun with it guys :P
